ON THE COVER
An archive shot for this issue’s cover and,
to celebrate the ISDT/E centenary who better to
go on the cover than Ken Heanes. The Hampshire
man was almost synonymous with the six day epic
having ridden, managed the team and arranged
bikes for the team during his connection with
the event. Ken is pictured on a 504cc Cheney
Triumph in the Isle of Man based 1971 ISDT.

in the country is the Vets MXdN at Farleigh Castle
in Somerset. Organiser Dave King manages to attract
some of the best known names in the world along
