This pocket sized book is a volume in our tribute to the Ian Allan ABC Combined Volume series, is the first of a 'two parter'. To so many youngsters growing up in the days of steam on Britain's national rail network the ABC Combined was a must have item. This series features memories of the trainspotters who were out there meticulously recording each loco they 'spotted' by carefully underlining them in the relevant section. But trainspotting was so much more than this it was about camaraderie, day trips, rail tours, shed bashing, sandwiches, duffle bags and the triangular frozen drink known as a 'Jubbly'. This first part of Stewart's story takes us from 1959 to the early months of 1963. The second volume will take us through 1963/4 and is due for publication early in 2015.
